We’re inviting bold, original pitch submissions for review and critical industry feedback from an experienced panel:
Mo Ali, Susie Farrell, Derren Lawford, Nicola Gregory, and Joseph Trusson.
This session is designed for writers, creators, and producers who want their ideas rigorously assessed by professionals who work across development, production, direction, and sales.
Mo Ali — Interested in ambitious, commercial genre storytelling, particularly thrillers and sci-fi with strong cinematic drive, action elements, and—most importantly—a clear emotional core and authentic creative voice.
Susie Farrell — BAFTA-nominated screenwriter and broadcast TV writer, co-creator of Hope Street (BBC). Focused on grounded, character-led drama and is well placed to identify what is working in a pitch—and what needs sharpening.
Derren Lawford — Award-winning executive with a documentary background, now working across scripted content. Open to a wide range of pitches with a strong emphasis on entertainment value and narrative engagement.
Nicola Gregory — Founder of NICO Productions, developing premium film and television rooted in culturally distinctive storytelling. Interested in high-concept drama, elevated genre, and returning comedy with a strong sense of identity and international appeal.
Joseph Trusson — Drawn to naturalistic storytelling with indie sensibilities, low-key stakes, and authentic dialogue. Particularly interested in working-class stories and voices from across the UK, with inspiration drawn from filmmakers such as Ken Loach, Mike Leigh, and Shane Meadows.
