SIK Productions is a registered Community Interest Company (CIC) dedicated to steering young people away from crime and exploitation by introducing them to the world of filmmaking and creative storytelling.

Our mission is to create meaningful opportunities for young people, particularly those from underrepresented and working-class backgrounds, to explore the creative industries in a supportive and practical environment. Through workshops, production opportunities, and industry engagement, participants gain hands-on experience across different areas of filmmaking, helping them build confidence, skills, and creative voice.

A key part of our work is creating pathways into employment, training, and further education within the film and media industries. We support participants in developing practical skills, building professional networks, and understanding the range of career opportunities available across the sector, from production and directing to technical and behind-the-scenes business roles, such as marketing, sales, and distribution, and understanding Film Markets.

SIK Productions also works to foster relationships between new and emerging filmmaking talent and experienced industry professionals who can provide mentorship, guidance, and career support. By bridging this gap, we aim to help the next generation of storytellers access opportunities that may otherwise feel out of reach.

Through creativity, collaboration, and industry access, we strive to empower young people to see filmmaking not only as a form of expression, but as a real and achievable career pathway.
